This is one of my newest epi cuttings, only about 2 months old & still unrooted.
Looks like a new flower but thought they needed to be root-bound in order to produce flowers---am I imagining things???
Know it resembles the buds that come out on my established epis but didn't think they would produce flowers so soon!
Sometimes stress causes the buds to form. Unfortunately its best to pinch or cut the buds off cuttings. Otherwise the flower will get all the cuttings energy rather then using it to grow roots.
Yes It is best to remove, though they will probable drop off on their own. Mine did.
