seem to do much.

Rhubarb loves lots of compost.
Have you tried that?

As cyndiehook says, rhubarb is a very hungry crop. Plenty of manure and compost. However it's possible that yours has a virus infection. In that case you'd be advised to dig it up, root it out completely, and plant cerified virus free stock in a different part of the garden. Can we have some more details? How old is it? What's your soil like? is it in sun or shade? Does the ground get waterlogged? Mine in zone 4b is just showing buds as the snow melts; but once it gets going it will positively explode into life.

Welll couldn't tell how old it is for sure...but more then 20 years...come with the house.
Well I'm thinking I need to get some compost out there..Its in the sun and not waterlogged at all.
Thanks for the input :)

I have put as much as a cup of 10-10-10 on each hill of rhubarb with no ill effects. The first year I read of it I did it to one hill, but it took it so another year they all got it. If you want it to plump up and produce that will do it!!
