I almost stepped on this bird that was sitting by our water fountain because I didn't see him until I got right up to him. He doesn't seem to be frightened at all and it seems like he's sleeping. He seems to like the sound of the water fountain.
Can anyone ID what kind of bird this is? I think it might be a baby or very young bird, maybe even a pet bird.
It was so cute - a little baby dove was trying to check him out when I was sitting out on our bench trying to figure out if there was something wrong with him. When the dove flew away the white bird woke up, looked around, and seemed perfectly content to just stay there by the fountain. I'm concerned that he is not feeling well.
I just went back outside to check on him. He is now up on the bench where I was sitting. At least I know he can move.
CLOSED: White bird
Looks' like a Dove, but I have never seen white ones like that around here. It looks' like the kind released at weddings.

Yep, a domesticated dove, likely a Barbary Dove Streptopelia risoria (a domesticated variant of African Collared Dove S. roseogrisea).
