Tall Bearded Iris 'Foreign Storm'
Iris
This is FOREIGN STORM.................grows to 36 inches tall.
Tall Bearded Iris 'Foreign Storm'
It is a darker purple, near black here. Soil?
I'm not too surprised to hear that, Lucy. It could be the soil, but I am almost sure it's due to the higher temps here in the desert (and growing it in full sun). Irises grown in partial shade will result in deeper, richer color here. It has such lovely form.................I really ought to move it where it'll get some shade.
Gorgeous!
Excellent photo
We have it in full sun, but I can assure you that especially this spring we don't have high temperatures. Fantastic form, however.
