Hello all! Just paid my two months to see what this site is all about!
I was wondering if anyone has any cute items for garden art, etc that we could make and sell at our Garden Club sale in June? (That rod with pots on it is really cute!)

Welcome Kalee. I second the trash to treasure forum and also maybe the craft forum. I think a good seller would be some kind of container with a nice perennial planted in it from your garden. My old garden club used to have a garden walk as our main fundraiser. At the last home on the walk we'd have a combo plant and craft sale. We would make the crafts at one of our meetings. It was fun.

My favorite is old boots with hens and chicks planted in them. I paid 35 bucks for a pair several years ago. The more worn the workboot the better. When I made one for a friend, I too a sander and went at the boots that I got for a dollar at goodwill, I even wore a hole in the toe with it and put a chick in there.
Thanks for the good ideas. We do sell perennials from our homes at this sale and just recently started making "things" too. It is a big fundraiser for us. I have seen the hens and chicks in boots and they are adorable. Great idea to take the sander to them!
Welcome Kalee...how about some hypertufa containers.....I love them and they are easy to make
I love the neck 'coolers' made with moisture granules. You wet them and then put them in the fridge and they can be put around the neck or head in the very hottest part of the summer.

Selling paint pens and labels is BIG!! You can order wholesale and package them up by dozens with a pen!!
