I wanted to share some pics of my front garden. Thanks to all my DG buddies sharing so much information and giving me "how to" info, you've helped me win Yard Of The Month for April. I think it looks pretty good if I do say so myself!

Spring Garden
Gorgeous gorgeous and gorgeous.
Josephine.
If you are through, you can come and do mine!!!! We don't have "Yard of the Month" in these woods, though. Haha, No competition!!!
Your yard really looks nice. Congrats on you win.
Annette
Beautiful! Particularly the blues. I assume the deeper blue is lobelia and the lighter geranium?
Thanks for all the nice comments.
Irwells, It must be a trick of the light because the front edge blue is all lobelia. The taller darker blues are East Friesland & Indigo Spires salvias.

Gorgeous garden! Congratulations!
Absolutely beautiful.
Carla
Showoff.......don't blame ya though, it's absolutely beeeeeuuutiful!
We're just getting started up here in the Red River Valley.
"eyes"
Really pretty! Gives me lots of ideas for combinations.thanks for sharing!
Where is Toadsuck, eyes? I'm in the Red River Valley also, but in Lamar County.
Very well put together. You deserve it! Do you have your " before " pictures?
Anna, her before pictures are just as beautiful as her after pictures, she keeps a gorgeous garden,
Crow, your yard is looking great! Congratulations on Yare of the Month. It's a good feeling when that happens. I'm sure that garden tour is going to be a success for you later this month if everything keeps up the way it is.
Ann
Thank you all for the very nice comments. I really enjoy my gardens and all my garden buddies on DG. I've learned so much since I've joined Dave's that I feel all my garden sucesses are group efforts.
Have any of you added anything to the Landscapes Database lately? I've been going to add some pics and wanted to change the front thumbnail picture. I can't get it to work. I posted a question and even Dmailed support some weeks ago and I've not had any replies.
Eyes, I may have to move. I'd love to live in a place named Toadsuck! All my inlaws in Scotland think all Texans are a crazy bunch (they only have me to go by) and are always cracking up at all things Texan. I can just imagine the reactions if I said we lived in Toadsuck Texas!
Crow
Beautiful!! Wow!!
Mind sharing who is your landscapes architect? (smile)
Thanks
Jerry
Jerry, the planning is all mine and the digging is all DH! He swears I can't put any plant in the ground without it having to move at least twice. I do have a background in design, but it's petrochemical refineries, not gardens :)
Crow
Texas towns do have some interesting names, that's for sure. A few of my favorites:
Bug Tussle (not too far from me)
Dime Box
Cut and Shoot
and of course, Toadsuck
I wonder if I could rent a post office box in Toadsuck just so I could use that as my address? Hmmm, I just think that'd be the neatest sounding address. Of course then I'd have to get someone to forward my mail, so maybe not so good.
I wanna' live in Toadsuck!
Enjoyed the garden photos - just beautiful.
Good job Crow! I am with Josephine though, your before pics were georgeous too!
you deserve that award...
you can tell you love what you do!
