Hi All;
I am wondering if there are any really nice semetrical violets? I have some mini's that do quite well, but most do not, just wonder if anyone knows any good ones to get,?

any nice african violets
some of the jollys are good,and so is petite jewel,
There is a lot of talk on another forum about chimera Concord and Rob's Lilli Pilli being well behaved and good bloomers. Also, my Sunkissed Rose falls under that catagory. Of course, there's the Optimaras. Often on vendor's websites, they will mention these traits in the description.Sometimes I will put up with an unruly plant b/c I like the flower so much.
concord reverts easy and is tough to grow in my opinion but i do love it
i have concord & it did revert, but it's still a well behaved plant,lol sounds like a kid.lol
i will look up the rest you both mentioned. thanks

I just go for foliage that is outstanding and if I get a few pretty blooms , that is just a plus to me.......
Minis from Rob and Pittman have generally had the best symmetry for me.. the Optimara space babies seem pretty even also, not much given to suckering. Buckeyes vary, but most have been pretty well behaved (and such a selection of variegated foliage with them!).
'Sure to Please' had the best symmetry of any girl-leafed violet I've grown, really loved its foliage.
thanks, i'll have to look for that one.

'Pow Wow' was one that I found to be very symmetrical in growth habit. I never got into the growing like so many of you, with the grooming and removing of leaves, etc. This link is to my photo of Pow Wow in Plant Files: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/164913/ It was a pretty AV but check out av_ocd_girl's photo in the group ... now that is an outstanding Pow Wow! Love the foliage variegation on her plant!
that is reall a nice one,.thanks
