My unsuspecting and lovely wife thought initially they were invasive or a weed of some kind a ripped out a section the size of 3 dinner plates :( Time to find out if they are still alive in the compost pile! Found a lot of them jumping out all over the property...thanks all for letting me know!

I moved into my house about three years ago and didn't know a thing about gardening. I can't believe how many things I thought were weeds and pulled out just to have them grow the next year and found out they were perrenials. Luckily I didn't destroy all of the roots. I'm learning to wait and see before pulling them out. It has been an adventure.
