I took a couple cuttings last fall from one of my tropical hibiscus. One of them, that's only about 6 inches tall has put out a flower bud. Should I pinch that off?

Newbie Question
I'm no expert...but if it were mine I'd let it bloom...
Knowing me I'd let it bloom too--these will get fuller and bushier if you do some pinching and pruning but I have a hard time letting go of potential flowers! So since it's already got the bud I'd be tempted to leave it alone and let it bloom, then immediately afterwards do some pinching.
Hi blpender,
Liz gave some great advice!!! I usually cut the buds off so the energy will go into the growth of the plant. It may not even possibly look like the variety that you have rooted right now so dont be disappointed. I have seen younger buds pop and I have to do a double take to make sure it was the right plant. I used to let them pop but now I sacrifice the buds and I pinch to get more branching. A little sneak peak won't hurt. BTW the plant looks very pretty!!!

Thank you all for the advice. The bud stays then. This is the first time that I've had any luck getting cuttings to root, and boy, it sure took a LONG TIME. Is that normal? I do a lot of brugs and get roots in a week or so.
