I was looking at the Grassy Knoll website, and became overwhelmed by the choices. I live in the Mohawk River valley in upstate NY. My passionflowers are potted in 22" planters with large metal obelisks (7'). They spend spring to fall in a semi shaded garden under a mature oak. I overwinter them in a 60 degree greenhouse. They are trimmed severely for winter storage.
I am only interested in varieties that will flower well in a pot, preferably all summer, with large flowers.
I have been disappointed by Alata (time of blooms), Tamarinia (bloomed once and never again) and Edulis (blooms infrequently for me), and I am not fond of the flowers on the Star of Bristol.
The vines generally top the 7' obelisk and cascade to the ground. These are from my wishlist (and may be wildly inappropriate for my situation):
Passiflora 'Anastasia'
Passiflora 'Donna Brigham'
Passiflora 'Exoniensis'
Passiflora 'Flying V'
Passiflora 'Jennifer Grace'
Passiflora 'Susan Brigham'
Passiflora 'Wilcen K Verhoeff'
Passiflora antioquiensis
Passiflora caerulea 'Clear Sky'
Passiflora luzmarina
Passiflora mathewsii
Passiflora riperia
Passiflora triloba
I would appreciate any suggestions.

Need help choosing the best passionflowers for summer blooms
When I lived in Missouri, zone 5b, I always grew P. lady margaret - bloomed ALL THE SEASON and grew really large.
Passiflora 'Anastasia' - Spectacular show - easy
Passiflora 'Donna Brigham' - Good grower - easy
Passiflora 'Exoniensis' - Not for your region
Passiflora 'Flying V' - Not as impressive as Anastasia
Passiflora 'Jennifer Grace' - See Donna Bingham
Passiflora 'Susan Brigham' - See Donna Bingham
Passiflora 'Wilcen K Verhoeff' - Nice, but difficult
Passiflora antioquiensis - Not for your region
Passiflora caerulea 'Clear Sky' - Much like P. caerulea - easy
Passiflora luzmarina - Difficult
Passiflora mathewsii - Not for your region
Passiflora riperia - Can be difficult and takes a while to bloom
Passiflora triloba - Can be difficult and takes a while to bloom
Thank you very much! That's just the info I was looking for.
