Now in a nice cushy pot of MG..worm poo ... dynamite fert and watered in with liquid kelp : )
Now I wonder if it will survive after living in all of the nutrients. I hope so! It is a bonus unnamed seed from abads
Some of the leaves are larger than my hand and I have big hands lol!

That's phenomenal growth! I've been looking at those Aerogrowers, but wondered if it was worth the price. After seeing that little Brug ... hmmmm.

When your plants make that transition to soil, however, it might be better to have waited about 2 weeks before adding all that fertilizer. You'll be forcing top growth before the roots get over the shock of transplanting and get established.

Thanks Betty! I did not think of that..do you think I should dump it and just use the potting mix?

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

If you just potted it, yes, I would dump the mix and start over with just the potting mix. How often do you have to replace the plants growing in your Aerogrower?

I just potted it today so I will change the soil. Betty the grower was a gift in Feb. I had the brug seed growing with a crop of lettuce lol.The lettuce has withered out and the brug was touching the bulbs. There's a extender for growing taller plants. Maybe next winter..it would be really cool for making above the Y cuttings bloom.

KIM... Lovely.. I've been looking into how to make an aeroponic unit.. is yours the one with the light above and a part of the unit it's self.. what did you have the cutting rooting in a this time.. just plain water.. or a nutrient bath.... if it was a nutrient filled water .. it might be just fine to have the nutrients in the soil also.. you've plenty of roots to say the least... it they are working at 30% uptake upon potting .. you shound have enough root activity to keep thoes few leaves quite happy..it seems aso...you could have easiy potted them on a month or so ago.. and had them do just fine.. hitting the dirt then..
I start feeding upon potting them on myself.. and spray the recipe on them from the time they are rooting in water.. through potting on.. your top growth.. won't excede the root adaptation in the first few weeks.. till it's all functioning at 100% ..then you'll catch the great growth of your fine root system.. and in aeroponic growth.. thich has much more dry growing time in the cycle.. not like sprouting in water.. but more akin to growing in slighty moist soil..you're ony moist for5seconds.. and then airdryingfor 30seconds.. before te next water spray is activated.. what's your spray time..vs the air time in between cycles in your set up..

Thanks Gordon! Yes it is the AeroGarden that you describe. I stuck the seed in one of the growing pods. You drop nutrient tabs in very two weeks. And I do spray the recipe.I really should have potted her up sooner! I just put in some more seeds Arborea and a Rubirosa x Vixen cross : } The Arborea seed was harvested 2007 and the other 2008.
