I found a bunch of these up in the forest not far from our place while walking Cooper. I've never seen these before. The fawn lilies and shooting stars are just coming out, but this isn't like those. I thought I'd post here before going to the i.D. forum.
I hope everyone has a big melt happening.
What's this?
Looks like a crocus?

HI.
Give Cooper a rub for me, I bet he spotted these first.
Wow you have stuff up even in the woods? YEAH!!
Its coming here next!
Looks like a crocus to me too but I'm not expert.
Todd usually knows these things.
Ann
I also think it's a type of crocus.
well that seems to be the general consensus. Thanks for the input. I'll have to do further digging to find out what it is.
Ann, Cooper is always grateful for pats, he loves the attention. He's a people dog.

Posted on the plant ID forum for you also.
Kin
Thanks Kin.
No photos yet, but should be able to get them in the next few days. Our problem is an old digital camera that really doesn't do macro.
The photo that is like the flower I posted, on the link above, was posted by our own Growin in Vancouver. It's just such a delicate flower.
