I learned this past summer that the neighborhood hummingbirds absolutley loved the Galtonia I grew for the first time. They were all over them morning and night. A real magnet.

What is Galtonia? I haven't heard of that before. I do love my hummers.
Galtonia candicans is a summer blooming bulb, that is 18-24" tall with white, pendant, bell-shaped flowers, hardy zones 5-10 . It is absolutely beautiful. You can see and buy them at Brent and Becky's Bullbs.com. They are only available to purchase in Spring. I have many hummingbird plants, but this one surpassed them all for hummers' attention. It was funny to watch them shoo the bees away from the Galtonia.
