Is this a Goldfinch or maybe a warbler? Seemed a little smaller than the usual Goldfinch I see (Lesser & American) and it was all alone. I'm used to seeing two or more Goldfinch at a time.
CLOSED: Little Bird
Lesser goldfinch, female. (NB. wingbars)
Thanks Altagardener. I thought so but something just seemed wrong... by the way what does NB stand for? I have a feeling I'm going to feel really dim when you tell me.
NB = "note" (nota bene)
never heard that before - so I don't feel so dim, happy to learn something new, Thanks!
Had to google it. I DO wish that Latin was taught in the primary grades of school. It would make adulthood so much easier...
