Ok My Flowers are blooming is it good to keep the flower on the stem? Is that the way that the pod gets longer you leave it on until the flower falls off bigger the pod gets?

yes, when the flower falls off it will usually develope a pod, not all flowers do, so just keep an eye on the flower stalks.

Thanks Bonnie this is so cool I just can't wait to move so I can start to plant I have taken a couple of the pod off and drying out in a envelope
takes about eight weeks for most to be ready to be picked,if you see your pods turning brown and shrinking,pick them and let the dry
and if you dont use all the seed right way , keep it in the crisper in the fridge,sorry dont know if they do good frozen or not
