More ID help needed

Can anyone identify these bulbs? I think they are in the Scilla family, but not sure. Leaves are too narrow to be a hyacinth, I think. A previous owner planted them and I have lots of them coming up in a planter box out front.

Looks like Scilla 'Spring Beauty' to me.

I think they may be Hyacinthoides hispanica, (Spanish bluebells or Wood hyacinth).

Thanks for your help, both of you. Guess I'll have to do some more snooping around in plant files.

Gemini is much more knowlegable than I am - I just did a google search, and they looked most like what I suggested.

I think gemini is right - the flowers and the foliage look like the ones that I have, and that grow in my neighbor's yard.

Thanks again, everyone. I like to know what I have in my garden, especially plants left by previous gardeners! One thing I am planning for my Asheville garden is to leave a journal and plant index so the next owner will know what's what and where. We are placing this house in the market this year.

Here is another photo of the bulbs which grow in a planting box in front: These have buds but not blooms yet.

definitely spanish bluebells. Scilla are much more true blue, and have more separation between the petals.

Hemophobic-see if you can sniff them. Spanish bluebells have a really pleasant smell.

I don't remember my scilla having a scent, but then I really can't remember...

Seedpicker: They do have a sweet little fragrance, so Spanish bluebells it is! Thanks for your help. Now, if you could just tell me what kind of red rose I have, which is currently putting out burgundy leaves of the most gorgeous shade, I would be happy. I'm going to post this in the rose forum.
