Inca Dove in Southeast Texas

Sugar Land, TX

Well, this may not be so rare these days but it's the first time I have seen an Inca Dove this far north. I have seen them for years in south Texas but never in the Houston area. It was just near my feeder in my back yard.

Very nice Chris!

Cute little one. Hope you have a pair of them there.

Norman, OK

Aztecs are striking birds. I've had them at my feeders here in OK along with White-wings, Eurasian ringnecks and Mourning doves. I moved about a year ago-- only about 1 1/2 miles, but haven't had anything but mourning doves here. I throw out grain for them and usually have 12-25 morning and evening.

Mourning doves are beautiful as well. Here is a pic of one of the locals.
