Questions about the antibiotic Baytril

I haven't been here in awhile but I remember there was a good pet forum. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with Baytril. My 13 year old dog had an ear problem, which we treated and she was fine for a couple of months. Last weekend she began to shake her head so we cleaned and treated her ears. Monday she would shake her head and lose her balance so we took her to the vet on Tues. They said she had vertigo and prescribed prednisone and baytril. Thurs she was no longer losing her balance and seemed to be much better. That morning she took the third of each pill. That night she started vomitting bad, acting like it was hard to swallow. Friday she was still vomitting, seemed to have trouble breathing and she hasn't eaten anything since Thursday. Saturday she was very tired and her tongue was bluish. The vet was out of town, they said she would call when she got back but we haven't heard anything. Yesterday and today she will drink water . She walks into another room or outside to go to the bathroom, the swallowing seems a little better and doesn't seem to be breathing so hard. Somehow she gets upstairs in the middle of the night. I am definitely taking her to some vet tomorrow. I am wondering if she had an allergic reaction to the baytril. Could anyone give me any idea what is going on? Sorry for such a long post, I am just so concerned about her. Thank you
