Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Good morning ~

Tragedies and politics aside, the cattle continue to fatten, and I'm thinking maybe I will see little calves before November. A few of those cute little white-faced black cows look positively rotund (ok, they aren't really little, but they are cute)! Ranchers have dragged (and probably reseeded)one of the main pastures near the road - in anticipation of winter rains, I'm guessing. That will probably be the pastures that the late winter calves will graze. So nice to see the cycle of life starting up again after all this inundation with death and destruction.

Take care, everyone.

Thinking of you.
