my wife loves to cook for parties and always has a big pot to cook in. she just bought this set of 3 pots from sams club and the whole thing cost less than twenty five dollars. they are made my a company called imusa (i never heard of them). they are aluminum and can go into the oven but not the lids as they have plastic handles. it says on the instructions that you should not store food in them in the fridge because it will discolor the pot. also, do not run cold water into them while they are still hot. one odd thing though was that it says to keep birds out of the kitchen when cooking because of fumes that imit from the pan.
