sorry i haven't been on for awhile, thank u all and yes i had an awesome b-day!

i got more babies the other nite. a few weeks ago my cat fred open the cupboards and excaped one night till morning before we caught her. so needless to say i helped her deliver 8 babies the other night. she lost one but the other 7 made it. i had them put on a list at the petstore to take them when they r litter trained and 7 weeks old so that they can all find new homes when they r ready. so here's the new additions she had some beautiful babies this time, usually she has mostly dilute colors so i was surprised to see so much black color in them. there is 2 calicos, 2 black/white, 2 dilute calicos and a black tiger.

this is josie the baby i kept from fred's last litter she is dilute also and about a year old now. josie is a riot if u make kissy noises she gives kisses. she is really loveable and thinks she is one of the kid's it is so cute to see her and my kid's play together. u'sd swear she was a dog not a cat her and fred both know their names and answer to them. she is a sneak too momma taught her to open cupboards also, lol.

they are adorable..i love calicos..

Hey cndy!!
Silkie, those are adorable! I love calicos also. We had one. It is very rare to have a male calico. I did not know that. (mine was female) They are so little. Its nice the petstore will sell them for you. At least they will go to good homes. That must make it a lot easier to let them go. Have a great day. Jeanmarie

Those are just way too adorable!!!
What a wonderful B-Day present!

My cat is a dilute long hair calico stray. When she showed up on my doorstep she had four tiny, tiny kittens; two calico girls and two red boys--one of each was dilute and one of each was regular. The regular were wild and untamable--the dilute were total loves. Apparently, especially with calicoes, the dilution gene tends to affect their temperament as well. Anyway that is what the vet told me.

It would be interesting, silkiechick, to see if that holds true with yours. They are sooooo cute.

Love the babies.

Hi wren!! beautiful flowers. They look like orchids, yes...no? Gorgeous. Hay

Reynoldsville, PA(Zone 6a)

yep it is extreamely rare to find a male and they r worth alot of money. i have not checked to see who r males and females yet haven't had time. i love em to and it will be hard to part with them this time around since there is so many of them. i'm in love already, lol but shhh don't tell mike he'll have a cow. my fav is the one regular calico i'll have to take a better pic of it by it's self. i wish we had room i'd keep her too.

freds mom was a stray we took in when i was pregnant with my son who is almost 7 and she had babies 3 days later. she had our fred and a white with orange tiger spotted boy who our friend still has. momma was white with splotches of gray tiger and orange tiger splashed together she was really pretty never seen another like her she was a gorgous calico. unfortunately momma was to wild to tame so she had to be rehomed to a farm where she could run not be cooped up.

i have never been able to find out much about dilutes i know they r a rarer color. fred is only loveable to me she is bonded to me since she is mommy's spoiled brat, lol. i'm usually the only one she kisses or holds her. she can have an attitude if she wants. josie is 100% like a toddler and way to loveable my daughter carries her everywhere with her and josie plays non stop with her mom, dogs u name it she gets along with everyone and everything. josie is bonded to both of us but mostly jelena. however she is loveable to anyone who will pay attention to her and if u don't pay attention to her she play bites ya to make u pay attention, lol. i honestly don't know if it has to do with the colors or not but they r the mellowest cats i've ever had and smartest they use their paws as hands like coons would.

hay, the red flowers r amaryillus blooms and r gorgous!! those r one of my favorite flowers, lol. funny part is she didn't know that.
