Artificial Goose Eggs?

Southern NJ, United States(Zone 7a)

Anyone know where I can get a couple of these? Murray McMurray sells 4" wooden goose eggs for $39.99 for six of them, but it would be nice to find them for less, and I don't think I need that many.

Thanks, CrestedChik! I just ordered them from there. They don't look quite as large as the ones from Murray McMurray, which are 4", but I don't think the geese will notice..

You can get plastic eggs in the craft stores. What's up with that Forty-buck for 4 wooden eggs? You can buy the birds cheaper than that. SHeeeeeesh. Hay

Yes, I thought that was crazy, too. But I think the ones that CrestedChik found will work well because they're heavier than the plastic craft eggs, I'm assuming.

my birds arent fooled by the plastic eggs.....
I'm going to get some ceramic eggs......

Aha, I'll let you know if they work. We wanted some as place-savers for our goose eggs and to discourage our chickens from eating them, which is what was happening to them.

By the way
the guys who own the place
they are great guys
they come to our shows sometimes
Donate a lot of stuff
That incubator they have I want so bad
its small, with a fan and automatic thermostat
I hate running my huge GQF for a small amount of eggs

I bought that night watch blinking red light thing from them
I have not lost a bird at night since then

We don't incubate eggs - we buy chicks instead. Sounds like you're into it more deeply than we are!

When I ordered there was a brief questionnaire about how I liked their website and how I heard of them, so I mentioned that they were recommended by someone from Dave's Garden. If you know them you can tell them that that was you!
