I'm hoping to identify these in order to add them to the BF. I can look up all their details for adding them, but I need a place to start. If you know any of them I would appreciate your help.
Here's the first one:
CLOSED: Several unkown birds
Hey, I've found #4's identity! It's a saddle-billed stork. I would still appreciate any help with the others.
Hi Ero, I'm sure Resin will be back later. Congrats on getting the Stork! Great pics btw!
#1 is one of the South American tanagers, not sure which though.
#3 is Yellow Grosbeak Pheucticus chrysopeplus
#5 is Abdim's Stork Ciconia abdimii from Africa
Not sure on #2
Guess all these are in a zoo - if uploading on BirdFiles, best to say where!
Resin
Thank-you both. I really appreciate your help.
It turns out #2 is a red-capped cardinal.
The tanager still has me stumped.
I've found another photo of this type of tanager (or at least very close) and, of course, the only name they use for them is "Mexican Tanagers".

I'll be sure to let everyone know once I find more information.
You're going to love this, it's the Turquoise Tanager or Tangara MEXICANA!
