Hello to all from total newb from Northern Cali

So, finally, after a few hundred "argh!" moments after reading "this forum is accessible only to SUBSCRIBING members...", I gave in.

I'm starting with the two month subscription because I'm wimpy and cheap but already I'm hooked. And after the welcome dmail arejay59 sent about the seed packets...that just warmed the cockles of my heart, seriously.

I've been using this site unsubscribed for a few years now, mostly for the gardening catalog/site reviews, which have led me to so many sources for seeds and plants. However, there's just so much info in general on this site for gardening and now that I have full access...
