I got home last night from Florida, have two days home and then off for two weeks.
Oh.. and I decided growing things in Florida is cheating. I think if you spit on the sidewalk it would grow into some kind of foliage. The PNW is the challenge!
Today I went in search of tulip bulbs to replace the ones in my COSTCO water jars…ok.. I’m learning. Those are fall items and no one has them now RATS…Gonna try fresias...but..it did get me into COSTCO. THE TREES ARE IN AT SCREAMING PRICES!!!! I got a 4 in 1 cherry, a 4 in 1 apple ($14.97 ea) and a pear tree ($10.97) I want MORE. If there are more next week I’m getting some. They also had some really pretty flowering something trees that were about 8 ft tall for $37.97. Next time..TRUCK.
Next I somehow fell into Tuesday Morning. They has these great 14” pots that looked plastic but were made from bamboo for $2.49 I bought enough to transplant those $1 Hyacinth, crocus and daffys I got at Lowes last weekend. Oh and a great three tier plant stand for $14.99
On my way home my daughter and her friends called me. They were sitting on the grass behind behind the Eiffel Tower (one of our favorite places to hang out in France) partying it up with a bottle of champagne, bread, cheese and grapes watching it sparkle. *snif* Pout. (They live there.)
I got home and transplanted all my tomatoes, Hyacinth, crocus and daffys, planted some callas and stargazers in pots and now and catching up with you guys.
Everything’s in the house. It’s supposed to snow the next four days.
Oh and here's a picture of mu COSTCO tulip this morning.
Happy Trails!
