Pepinia sanguinia

Gainesville, FL

I bought this today at a sale. It was offered by the local Bromeliad Society as 'Pepinia sanguinea'. However, all photos I can look up of this plant have green leaves. Mine have lovely stripey reddish leaves! What gives? Is the ID incorrect? There aren't many Pepinia sp. and the pages for them at fcbs.org are not loading at present. Its the plant on left, on right is Acanthostachys pitcairnioides

Thats a pretty cool plant Goth. I know nothing I'm afraid, but thanks for showing us something new.

It looks like my 'Pitcairnia sanguinea' (sp)

Gainesville, FL

The small bit I could find on it was that it was once in the Pitcairnea genus but it and 4 others plants have been given their own genus, Pepinia, now.
I imagine its culture is probably just like Pitcairnea though
