More glazing questions...

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

I've read several times now about projects with glazing done on greenware. Has anyone used this process and what are the pros and cons?

I mentioned before that I have a Terra Cotta Pottery Coat glaze I like, but it's tricky to use. I was thinking if I could apply it to greenware, bisque fire, then apply the Stroke and Coat pattern on top, it might get the glossy/matte contrast effect I want. The other way I thought about was to outline my pattern, then paint the two separately after the bisque coat. I'll be applying a regular glossy glaze on the inside to make it waterproof. Does this make sense?
