Allow me to introduce myself

Hello everyone. I have just discovered this site. There's another garden site which I'm already a member of..... I live in rural Minnesota with my husband and 2 children (girl 7, boy 5). We have 8 cats(7 always outside, 1 occasionally inside) and a registered Sheltie guard dog. lol Not much of a guard dog, but he lets us know when someone's here. This has been my first year of gardening. I never had much interest until we became proud homeowners. Having your own little piece of earth does that to a person. Unfortunaley I've discovered I'm terrible at starting or even getting seeds to germinate, with the exception of the can't kill types i.e. marigolds, cosmos, bachelor buttons. :) Luckily I haven't had nearly the mortality rate with plants and bulbs. I look forward to meeting, trading, and getting to know you all.

Welcome, Autumn! I, too used to kill more than I raised when starting seedlings. But there are a few tricks of the trade, and once those are learned, seed starting becomes much easier....stick around and we can share "seed killing" stories, LOL! Glad to have you here!

I know what you mean! I finally gave up and only try the seeds I can throw right in the dirt! Too much work to keep changing them from container to container! It takes too much patience! Welcome. I'm new, too. Great people here!

Welcome Autumn from the Sunflower State. Lol,don't feel alone,been gardening all my life and still have problems' We have a new daughter-in-love from Mn. She's in Tn.now and loves it too,just moved into their newly built home yesterday' GV love you're sense of humor,another thread???
