Rhapsody

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Rhapsody is an Amber Rose x Butterfly cross by Ada Helms. The blooms have an aurea influence that can be seen in the shape of its blossoms. Whenever she is in bloom she always reminds me of Rothkirch. The blooms are a similar size and shape but for me Rhapsody usually achieves a darker color. One other trait that differentiates Rhapsody fro Rothkirch is that Rhapsody is relatively easy to root.
After 2 days of solid rain the top of the plant which is laden with buds is tilted over to one side. I'll try to get a picture of the entire plant when she straitens up in a day or so.

I LOVE Rhapsody! She did this in one season from a small cutting.. She doesn't get that dark here, but wow.. can she throw a flush or what?

Don't you hate how we do not get many of the dark pink colors coming thru, Joyce? What a great flush you have there!

I have some blooming on my porch already. SPRING is in the air!

Is this Ada's brug? Sure is pretty!

Hi Elva! I probably will have a couple of brugs for you soon. I put the ones from Delisa outside to try to get them to fatten up. They all rooted but need some loving to get them pretty.

What a tough Brug to be able to standfast under a good rain. It is a beautiful colour.. Congratulations on the beautiful results of your care.
