Microsoft 'Outlook". emails being automatically deleted....

Emails which should not be automatically deleted are disappearing into the ether when I click to open them.

On Outlook's 'Junk Mail Options' : Choose the level of junk mail settings you want.
I have this set on 'No automatic Filtering: Mail from blocked mail senders still moved to the junk mail folder'.

I have tried all the settings on Outlook Junk Mail Options to try to stop emails being deleted but have had no success in stopping the automatic deletions from occurring. These are email addresses which I have not added to 'blocked sender list'. These deleted emails certainly dont go to the Junk Mail Folder, but are completely eliminated from my computer. I'm at my wits end to try to understand whats going on!

Any help would be most welcome.
