yesterday after we ( Cherokee County MG's) finshed planting the HOPE garden I had the pleasure of seeing DdeTex green house and home.. I was impressed, envious and inspired. He has done such a beautful job of making things look like they belonged there and the variety of what he has is unbelieveable(at least to me) I left with lots of info and lots more ideas to apply to my home. He had things growing in places that according to the so called "experts" shouldnt be able to grow there..lol..Everywhere you looked another treasure caught your eye. While I dont have the setting David has I hope one day my home and garden will have that wonderful "feel" to it..
thanks David, You are a sweetie!

envy and inspiration
Wow! it looks like I better go and visit David's place after the swap.
Josephine.
I was at his place last Nov with my daughter and s-i-l. He does grow stuff in shade that by all reports shouldn't. Gave me great hope as I have a lot of shade too. We came home with some of his goodies and now they are "treasures" in our yards.
Thanks Raven. You will have to come back ina few weeks when things are really blooming. Most of my things came from the DG family of friends.
My place is in mostly shade so I do have to push that area of gardening.
Hope you do make it by here Frostweed. Know that you are welcome.
DD
Tex-glad you got some treasures from me. I do enjoy sharing my plants.
David, I planted the Confederate Rose and it seems very happy in it's new home. The hot lips is starting to grow pretty good. The May Pop or Passion Flower is still green but slow to take off. The red salvia has new growth too. Thanks again.
I do hope to come and see your gardens David.
Josephine.
Me too, I plan on visiting after the RU. I was too busy at the last RU gathering up orphans to get directions, but I won't make the same mistake twice!
Any threads with pictures? :)
