HEY Crazybirdlady51, I agree. At first I was not sure about that shot but after I started working with it a little, I really liked it. The sun at it's back really brings out some different hues in the feathers.

Those first 2 shots with the sun shining through them really show all of the beautiful colors! I've never seen them so beautifuly captured.

Hi Chris, How about sharing your camera settings with us? Again great job!
I used a Nikon D90 with a Nikon 400mm f/5.6 ED MF lens. I do not recall the exact settings but I tend to set the camera with quicker shutter speeds to get clear action shots. I enjoy the action shots more than anything and will sit for long periods of time just to catch a bird flying.
