Have: Possumhaw holly

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

I have quite a few seedlings I started for a couple of city projects that fell thur. I can use some but not all of them in my wildlife area I'm doing this year in my own yard. Will trade for other plants for wildlife.

Hey Peggy,

Do you know how fast they grow and if they make a mess when the berries drop off?

I picked the seeds from a bush growing on a fence row...it was about 10-12 ft. tall. Not sure how fast they grow or if they're messy.

I sure wish I had something to trade you, but I don't have much for feeding wildlife yet, and what I do have is tiny and hasn't even begun to come on yet.Maybe I can root cutting of the wayfaring viburnum(if your still looking for that), and we can do a trade later, in the summer

Birdie-Dee,
sorry I didn't answer sooner. Yardwork and the greenhouse has me tied up.

Dee,
does your vib make seeds? I 'd take a bunch of seeds for 2-3 possumhaw seedlings.

Birdie,
lemme know if you find some.

Peggy, I'm afraid that I don't have any seeds, and don't know if it makes seeds. I got it pretty late last fall, and it is just starting to bud out. It's a good size shrub...it was in a 3 gallon pot, but I can't recall there being seed pods on it.
