Roseate Spoonbills fighting

Sugar Land, TX

I got lucky today at Brazos Bend State Park, Texas, when some Roseate Spoonbills started landing in front of where I was sitting. Then two of them started fighting. It only lasted a few seconds but I was able to catch a good shot. I may never see that again.

Great shot! What luck that they chose to land there for their little fight. Are they both males? M & F?

Sugar Land, TX

My guess is that they are both males. These two were quite colorful where some of them were not so colorful. I was very excited that the flock chose to land right in front of where I was sitting. Then the little battle started. Good thing I was ready because it did not last long.
