WooHoo! My little butterfly garden that I planted a few weeks ago (my first garden I've ever planted) saw it's first butterfly ! I think it was a 'Painted Lady' but cant be sure. I tried to take pics, but it was just too darn fast fluttering about, but boy, did it put a smile on my face!

Do hope you also grow a variety of larval host plants for butterflies in your garden. We'll have you raising and releasing butterflies if you aren't doing so already :o)

LOL, Im not sure Im ready for raising them just yet, I was excited just to see they approved of the garden I planted for them!
And yes, it was exciting, because I was sitting on my back porch working on a mosaic table top I was inspired to do from the Mosaic and Stained Glass forum.. and there they were! woot
If you plant it they will come!!!! Glad you are making a place for our friends to flutter by. Stay on the threads and when you get a pic be sure to post it on the daily butterfly thread to share it.
