Okay-where are the photos-I love to look at other people's ponds! Especially as mine is still in it's winter sleep . . .
Linda
I can't post my photos, I have been trying all morning. If you will d-mail your e-mail to me I will be glad to send them. Sharon
Rosehip-How exotic looking! What a difference 3-4 zones can make!
Your pond is absolutely breath-taking, thanks for sharing the photos. Sharon

Thank you so much Dusty. I couldn't post them for some reason, probably old-age related. Sharon
You are very welcome my dear, but since I am a Great GrandMother 5 times now, I don't think age is much of an issue... LOL
Rosehip your pond is awesome! Your fishies look really happy. I like what you did with the horse trough-very creative..you can't even tell its a horse trough! Does the trough have a pump in it?
thanks angel_t_b,
Yes the trough pond has a pump in it too, and a small submersible filter and a exterior filter, then we ran the
out flow tubing up through an old antique pitcher pump which discharges it back into the pond. We just need to tiddy
the front up a bit still, I think we'll plant some foxtail fern around the base and then it should be good for the Summer.
It looks even better from that view. The ferns will be pretty. It might look good with some black elephant ears as well or some of those super dwarf cavendish bananas, they stay really small- like a couple feet. I love that blue glazed pot in the right back corner.
Beautiful! I love the lush green look of your ponds. I'm in the hot flat sandy area of Florida, so I don't have that kind of look with mine, but wish I did!
Sharon looks like a beautiful place - a virtual lake! Your fishies look fat and happy. Do you dye the water?
Yes, I use a product called Black Out. I have just recently purchased some barley bales that are supposed to help clear the water. I need a UV light, but the cost for a light that large is not in my budget right now. The fish are eating very actively now, we have had some 80 degree weather and they are hungry from their winter hibernation. Thanks for the compliment on my pond. I will plant some sun coleus before long to add some color to the border. Sharon
