We got our puppy this winter and do not have a fenced in yard for him yet. When the ground freezes the fence will go in. When we take him out to "take care of business" we have been confining him to one small spot in the yard where we are going to build a toilet area. Do you have one and what kind of surface do I use? I have heard mulch and river rock.
He is a miniature poodle so doesn't need a large area, what we have now is about 3' x 5'. The exercise area will be about 10' x 40'.
Any suggestions or advice?
