Anyone know their ducks?

Not sure what this guy is.

We have a bunch of different ducks coming into my lagoon to mate etc, not sure who is who. Lagoon in question.

These be ugly ducks but they came from somewhere and now are locals.

Got some mallards. It's not easy shooting pictures from a Kayak, sorry if they're blurred a little.

These guys and gal where not getting anywhere near me. Any ideas what I'm looking at? The one is black with white on his head. Not sure if it's his neck or on his face.

1. mallard hybrid, probably with a domestic duck - note the messed-up mallard colours
3. muscovy ducks
5. hooded merganser pair

Hi alta, Nice pics! Your so lucky to have a large lagoon; I'll bet you see quite a variety of birds.

Ditto to Altagardener. The Muscovy Ducks are also farm escapes.

LOL, escapees and ducks from unknown parents. We've also had wood ducks checking the place out but they seemed to have moved on to somewhere else.
