Another recruit saying HI!

Jay, OK(Zone 6a)

I was just referred this way from another forum, and *looking around* it sure looks nice!
My name is Dori. I an an avid rose gardener living in NE Oklahoma on 10 acres. Only two are in use for gardening, but I am working on it!
Married with two kids, 17, and 10.
I have a small flock of chickens (for eggs), a pair of rabbits (for black gold), two crazy kittens, and one energetic rat terrier.
I am happy to join this obviously fun-loving group!

Thank You go vols and Sis!
go vols---LOL Yes, I am a well-known wind-complainer! We live up here near the lake, enough rolling hills to cut it a bit, but my home is on a small prairie area. Were you in Bartlesville?
I have a friend that lives in Murfreesbro, and attends the college there. Small world, isn't it?!

Sis,
Howdy neighbor! I take it that you are in the northern part of the state (judging by your zone). Hope you guys are enjoying the nice cool break we are having from Summer!

Thanks dori/notmartha!
In my pre-internet life, I met only one other Dori. Now, I have met many! I will try to remember to go by DoriRose to avoid any confusion.
Five boys!! You must be one tough cookie to have survived that! LOL I feel frazzled by my one many times.
I would neve have dreamed that Michigan contained a zone 6. Must be the lake effect?
Your home sounds wonderful!
Thanks for the kind welcomes!

Hi DoriRose; I'm also a mother of two. One 14 the other is 9. Both of them are boys so I got my hands full but I do make time for gardening. My garden is just about four years old I haven't really put my heart into it. But since I seem to have plenty of time on my hands since the boys went back to school I'm making an effort to lay the bones out.
