I need a UNIQUE birthday cake recipe?

Does anyone have a cake recipe that I could try and bake for my mother-in-law for her 73rd birthday?
I was hoping to bake a cake that wasn't a "plain jane cake" and icing.
Her birthday is Sunday(15th) so I would like to bake it Saturday.
