eek. well in this instance I'm glad that I DON'T have a WBU near me.

This is apparently limited to 65 stores in the southern US.

No problem. Anyone in the south that gets their bird seed from WBU should call their store to see if their involved in the recall.

Sorry to have the messages about certain stores come in the 3rd post but I was just reporting what I hear on the NJ Bird listserv as it came in.

Has anyone heard anything about peanut butter suet? We have been out of it for a couple of weeks.

I haven't seen it at my bird store but I also decided to stay away from it for awhile.

I just bought two bags from there about a week ago. I bought the florida blend and the weedpecker blend, both have big nuts, especially the woodpecker. I think I might call over there today, just in case. I have never seen anything in the store here called just wildbird mix.

Yes, best to see if their involved.

Good grief..makes ya scared to put anything out almost.

I check all my seed carefully for mold too. I bought a 20# bag of the BOSS at WBU last year and the seeds were just covered in mold.
