Well It looks like Payne is FINALLY starting to heal. The vet put him on 50mg. of Doxepin twice a day and sent me home with Zn7 to apply on the spot twice a day. Also got an E-collar...BIG hassle. Went online and found the BiteNot collar. There is a Jeffers store about 45 min. from me, so off Payne and I went...also got some No Chew wrap. The BiteNot is much easier for all of us to deal with. Well Bill just had to try the wrap to see how bad it tastes...OMG..REALLY NASTY. And yes, I was dumb enough to try a taste as well !!! Anyway this combo seems to be working. This morning when I changed the wrap it was looking much better. Re-check on the 16th...hopefully the vet will be happy with the progress.
