How to tell Ebayer plant has mealies?

Okay, I know I need to tell them about the mealies on
a couple of plants, I would want to know if it were mine;
but - how, exactly?

Hi xxxxx,
I loved plants I got from you back in (forgot date) but I
am sure you would want me to tell you that a couple of
them had a few mealy bugs.

You may want to check where you grow your pink-silver
and your lacunosa.
They were the only two that had any obvious infestation.

The lacunosa only has the tips left to re-root but the pink-silver is super
thriving. All now treated with BATTS, mealies removed with alcohol.

I'd want to know if it were me...

Me too, you wrote it very nicely.

If it was a recent purchase...it would be advantageous for them to know. If it has been awhile...I'm sure they already know about the infestation.

Definitely, definitely let the person know Alison. I hope you treated all the plants even though they didn't show signs of infestation. Those little monsters can hide.

Christine

Your not kidding!
They didn't show up for a long time.
I treated all of them.

Better safe than sorry - and with the treatment all
made up, easier to just be safe.

I don't want them. I have a lot of plants that can't be
treated with systemics.

Well done, Alison! I think it is a great service to tell a supplier if their plants are faulty ... how else is one to know??? Good job!
