would be grateful for advice on how to grow ginger, for culinary purposes (I love cooking Thai food) I live in zone 10a.
Advice on growing ginger
They generally need shade, at least some. It depends on the kind of ginger you're growing.
I just planted etlingera venusta 10 days ago and I noticed this morning it is showing signs of distress. It's my first ginger and I planted right smack in full sun. I'll move it tomorrow, into a less sunny location.
