Is anyone growing that in Texas or deep south? I want to know if it can take full sun in the hot summers or should I give it partial shade to protect it from the 100 degree heat.

Take a look at this section of Plant Files -

Some Texans are growing it and without finding it too invasive as it is considered to be in Hawaii and some parts of Florida.
I haven't grown it but my neighbor in So. Calif. had a specimen.
That one post did mention heat. I guess that is my main concern. I cant decide to give it full sun or some shade.
Thanks.
I would think afternoon shade would be beneficial. On the east side of a building or a large tree.
