I've been wondering the need for crop rotation in my eBuckets. Because I've grown a successful crop of greens and cole crops this past Fall/Spring, I'm hoping to do it again come this Fall. However, I recall reading somewhere that brassicas (sp?) should be rotated. Is this necessary when growing in an eBucket? I've grown cabbages and broccoli in the eBuckets and plan on doubling the number come Fall. Please advise whether I should be concerned with changing out the potting mix, or the plants, i.e., putting a broccoli plant where a cabbage grew, etc....
CROP ROTATION in eBuckets: Is there a Need For This?
Gymgirl: I think with you planting with coconut coir there should not be any reason to rotate your crops; but, Bob would know for sure, mmmm, that looks good.
