Sinusitis vs. Migraine

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

I was sick this weekend. Saturday had the headache with the pressure and pain above the eyes and lower forehead. Then nausea started during the night. Sunday I started throwing up that morning. Very sick and vomiting from time to time through the day and I thought I had some of that drainage down my throat. Couldn't keep anything down, so nothing I could take for it. After a while, I was just drinking water, as tea I felt was just making it worse. I threw up once Monday morning, then just nausea and headache. Monday was a scheduled doctor appointment, so somehow I managed to get there. I've had a lot of sinus problems and allergies, so I assumed that's what it was. But the doctors said it is migraine. He said vomiting is not associated with sinus problems. Well, I've had this a long time. Mostly just the headache, sometimes not bad, sometimes horrible. If it gets bad enough, nausea is present. On rare occasion, vomiting. Now I'm confused and tend to doubt that it's migraine. I seem to remember reading something about vomiting being a rare side effect of sinusitis. Well, I'm better now, still a little headache, but no nausea. Anyone have any ideas?
