OT Monday morning
Wow! That's a lot of snow but that picture is oh so Beautiful!
Very pretty! It snowed down here in southern Alabama, only for a half hour.It looked like a blizzard out there. It was nice to see.
Wow! Beautiful and cold~lol. Stay warm...
Great pictures,Kivit,but I'm sure glad it's melting.
Lynn
Me too!
Oh ... I would love to spend just ONE day in your backyard, playing in the snow!
Is that a Boxer in your one photo? I bet the dogs do love romping in the snow!
Oh Lin,I hope that works for you!
LOL, it's worked for the most part for the 34 years we've been in this house! It usually doesn't cold for too many hours, Thank Goodness! We had three or four nights last month where it got down to the mid 20's and some of the plants did get damaged but hopefully will survive.
I left a little space where I could get through:
My kinda room Lin! Looks good to me^_^
Oh Lin, I'd love to be in FL with you now. Looks wonderful. It was 1 degree here this morning with the wind chill but no snow. It does look pretty though. Have a great day.
Laura
Beautiful picture,Teri!
Lin,It would be so wonderful to have outdoor plants all year!

If I ever took a vacation to someplace with weather like that, I would have to borrow some winter clothes and boots ... or hibernate inside and just gaze at it out the window! I don't even own a coat! I am in jeans, sweat shirt and flip flops today because it's a bit chilly ^_^ for us with low 50's and wind.
Dimmer, those are such pretty little birds! I need to get my bird book and see if I can figure out which ones they are!
Lynn I do no that there are Red Grosbeaks and Chickadees
Yes, that is a Downy Woodpecker. It's the smallest woodpecker found in Florida and we have them year round down this way.
Wowsers! I can't imagine driving in that! Isn't it awfully dangerous? Did you have to travel for work? My goodness ... you be careful out there gal ... so scary!
So Sally You must love that car its so you ( Very Cute you are driving)
No Lynn that was the end of me having fun my last vacation till next year I do have to go 1 more time cause I go to the dentist up there they rip me off and double charge and tell me I need thing like Root canal and my dentist said no I don't so I will be seeing him from now on

There's a bird called a Rose Breasted Grosbeak too. We don't see them here in Florida. They aren't as colorful but still a pretty little bird: http://www.northrup.org/photos/rose-breasted-grosbeak/male%20rose%20breasted%20grosbeak.htm
The little Carolina Chickadee is common in Florida: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=images+of+carolina+chickadee&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=mSasSdaEEoH8tgfe7cXXDw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title

A heeler cross that Will found at the farm last fal and & lab pitbull cross that is the biggest most loving dog!
Here is a picture of the dogs from last fall. Gavin & Jesse are at the fence. Tinka (white) & Nemo ( named because he was "found" are in the background.
Kivit, Terry, you guys must not live far from me. We had 3.5" of snow last night. But tonight will be the scary part. 15 degrees, all that melted today will refreeze again tonight. We all will be skating tomorrow!!
meag, not far from you at all - maps say a little over 2 hours. Do you get up to Clarksville anytime - we're about 40 mins from there? We're going down to 11º tonight.
Wow,you gals down south are getting Nebraska weather! Stay warm and be careful with that ice.
