Today I was shocked to wake up to snow! I woke up at like 6am to use the bathroom, glanced toward the window, and screamed "holy %^("...lol. It then woke my BF up, and we never did get back to sleep. It's only the 2nd time in the last five years I've been here that I've seen snow stick, and only about the 4th time I've seen snow at all since I've been here. The messed up part is, that friday it was like 75 degrees, and I was wondering if I would be able to put my plants out any time soon. It looked promising....till today. I went into town this morning, and all the roads seemed clear....till I hot one spot in the shade, and I suddenly felt like I was on marbles. There was a crashed vehicle on both sides of the road. I let off the gas, and slid to the other side of the ice, then saw the police coming. So, I carried on my way, and all was well. I went back through an hour later, and all was cleared and well.

You be careful with that ice. I have only seen snow once, in March. But one Dec we had a bad ice storm and there where wrecked cars every where!!!!
It was 80 here yesterday and they say it will drop down to 31 tonight. Weird weather.

You sound like you live in Lubbock, Tx. LOL We had an ice storm in Jan. and we had 20 wrecks in 15 minutes the news said.

Just northeast Florida. And that was the only ice storm I think they said in 75-100 years. It was at Christmas time. These Florida Crackers did not know how to drive on ice. I had to drive to my sister's house. I sweated it the whole way, cars in ditches, in yards, in the woods, it was a mess. Lasted a couple of days.
