Miraculous weather event

It takes a miracle to get snow in the Deep South.

The photo is so pitiful compared to what the old eyeball
itself can see....but it is something.

It has been eight years since the last time, and driveways
and roads are only wet because the ground is warm.

But so beautiful! Tomorrow it will all be gone - but today it is pouring!

Here is one more pic - this is a part of my loquat tree.

Beautiful!!

I like to say it is "fluffing". I hope you went out and made snowballs, or better yet a snowman.

Awesome, especially when one takes into account it's in the deep south!!

Oh, it is too pretty -and rare- to make snowballs.

We are treasuring it.

Lovely!!!

Yes, its very lovely, even magical. As much snow as I've lived with all my life, I never tire of seeing freshly fallen snow. Thanks for sharing your pictures Alison.

Christine

Thanks Christine.

It's a good thing I took some - it has melted and now is
practically all gone. Just some on rooftops.

It poured 4 - 5" of it. Quit. The sun came out. All gone.

Beautiful, I Love snowy pictures! Alison, you may get more of Snow with this latest cold front! News reports predict snow even in Southern Georgia, which is very rare! A few years ago we had snow flurries here in central Florida! Never made it to the ground to stick of course but it was interesting and fun to see!
